We all had a wonderful vacation in Maui. It was really hard to come home and back to reality. The kids loved spending time at the beach. They all went out snorkeling with Damon, and saw turtles and lots of fish. Aunt Melissa helped Ryan have a close encounter with a turtle!! He asked her, "Are you trying to make me ride it??" Callie tried to find mermaids. Jack liked to play pirates...he made me talk like a pirate with him while we buried things, marked them with an 'X' and dug for our buried treasures. "Argh, Matey!"
Jack's favorite thing to do on the beach is to sleep. The sounds of the ocean just calm him, he took a LONG nap almost everyday at the beach. What a beach bum!
We had lots of fun in the sand.
Callie loved the sand and she got it everywhere!
Damon taught Jack and Callie how to body surf...sort of. They loved it.
